En examinant l’évolution actuelle du français, cette brève présentation propose une piste paradigmatique concurrente à celle qui fonde les pratiques dans une logique identitaire. L’auteur souligne, en particulier, les effets technologiques, politiques et marchands du contexte mondialisant dans la formation de nouveaux réseaux et niveaux de pratique des signes.
