Abstract
Résumé L’enthousiasme que suscite l’approche relationnelle et le rythme auquel des entreprises de toutes les tailles tentent de l’adopter entraînent des interrogations sur la nature des changements à réaliser. L’adoption d’une telle approche centrée sur le client exerce une pression sur le modèle «classique» de l’organisation et requiert d’elle une transformation profonde. C’est cette hypothèse que nous avons voulu tester en observant l’évolution de l’adoption de l’approche relationnelle dans les grandes entreprises au regard des efforts de transformation déployés et de leur performance. Cet article débute par une réflexion sur la transformation de l’entreprise, suivie de la présentation d’un modèle conceptuel. Après un survol de l’enquête réalisée, nous analysons le niveau d’engagement d’entreprises rentables et innovatrices face à l’approche relationnelle. Puis, la nature de la transformation réalisée ou en cours dans ces entreprises est décrite et les principaux constats de l’enquête sont discutés.
