Abstract
Cet article propose une étude des rapports entre les jeunes et le journal francophone La Liberté. Dans un premier temps, nous en faisons l’historique depuis la fin des années 1960, en nous basant sur les collaborations journalistiques ponctuelles avant et après la création du Conseil jeunesse provincial en 1974. À la lumière de cet historique et à partir de l’analyse de la couverture de certaines « causes jeunesse » des dernières années, nous tenterons, dans un deuxième temps, de cerner les raisons qui expliquent la distance entre les jeunes et La Liberté aujourd’hui, au-delà de la popularité des médias sociaux.
