Abstract
La communication politique suscite de plus en plus la curiosité même si elle est trop souvent réduite à une technique relevant du marketing politique. L’essor des technologies de l’information et de la communication — les médias sociaux et notamment Twitter — a modifié les pratiques communicationnelles des partis politiques et leur utilisation des médias. Les auteurs comparent l’usage fait de Twitter en 2012 — en France et au Québec —lors de l’élection présidentielle et de l’élection provinciale afin d’en mesurer son influence sur le déroulement des deux campagnes et sur leurs résultats.
