Abstract
L’article qui suit porte sur la relation qui peut exister entre le jeune délinquant et la victime dans le système pénal canadien et plus particulièrement au Québec. La Loi sur le système de justice pénale pour les adolescents, adoptée en 2003, contient des dispositions qui permettent aux victimes de participer activement au processus pénal concernant les mineurs. L’auteure s’intéresse au fonctionnement et à la mise en oeuvre de ces dispositions. Les délinquants mineurs ont un système de justice qui leur est propre, et la présence active des victimes doit s’inscrire dans cette perspective.
