Abstract
Parmi les utopies économiques contemporaines, les circuits courts alimentaires se situent au confluent de deux phénomènes de politisation concernant respectivement les sphères de la consommation et les sphères productives. L’article revient sur les dynamiques de construction d’un discours commun autour de ces initiatives sur le plan local (ici le Pays basque français) articulé à celui des organisations présentes sur la scène internationale. L’expérience des circuits courts, en s’ouvrant au consommateur, actualise une politisation ancienne du développement agricole et territorial en Pays basque. La rencontre entre producteurs et consommateurs, présentée par les acteurs comme allant de soi, résulte d’un travail de construction d’un univers de sens commun à partir de répertoires de justification distincts.
