Abstract
L'étude des migrations quotidiennes des travailleurs d'après les données des recensements n'est possible que depuis 1971. L'auteur confronte les résultats d'une recherche exploratoire sur l'importance et les caractéristiques de cette mobilité dans la région frontalière de l'Outaouais aux principales propositions de la théorie du capital humain. À l'aide des mêmes informations, il essaie de mieux évaluer le degré d'interdépendance économique, voire de dépendance, entre les municipalités ou les régions d'un espace géopolitique donné.
