Abstract
Abstract I've been charged with writing a “history of the globalization of SEG.” This is a tall order. The written history is sparse and scattered and while many who have been involved in this process are still young and virile, their vigor means they're too busy to respond at any length with their memoirs. Still, there is some information available and I'll make the attempt to synthesize it here.
