Abstract
Résumé Geste significatif dans les représentations sociales et artistiques, le baiser constitue l’une des icônes de la modernité. À partir d’entrevues exploratoires et d’un questionnaire passé auprès d’étudiants universitaires du Québec et de Suisse romande, la place et la signification du premier baiser dans l’adolescence ont été cernées. Les données suggèrent un ensemble de contextes (baiser-jeu ou initiation) axés sur l’expérimentation et l’exploration de techniques. Cependant les facteurs nationaux semblent intervenir quant à la modulation de la place du baiser dans les scénarios sexuels, contribuant au développement psychosexuel.
