Abstract
À partir des documents officiels de l’Église, nous avons étudié l’évolution du dicours romain sur l’obéissance religieuse chez les personnes consacrées. Malgré l’insistance de Rome à s’accrocher aux valeurs traditionnelles, le dépouillement de la revue Vie des Communautés religieuses, de 1965 à 1995, montre que l’autorité et l’obéissance chez les personnes consacrées au Canada se sont transformées sous l’impact des forces sociologiques.
