Abstract
Le but de cet article est de procéder à l’analyse sémantique des définitions proposées dans la littérature scientifique et dans les textes légaux pour décrire des phénomènes de victimisation au travail. Partant du constat de la grande diversité de la manière d’envisager ces phénomènes, les auteurs ont tenté d’identifier les récurrences et différences entre ces diverses définitions. Trois pôles sémantiques ont été identifiés : les conséquences pour les personnes et l’environnement, les comportements hostiles et les ressources des parties au sein desquels, diverses composantes ont pu être étudiées. Deux questions suscitant le débat ont également été relevées : la nécessité de l’intentionnalité de l’auteur pour parler de situation de victimisation et la place du conflit dans les processus de harcèlement. L’analyse de ces définitions débouche sur une réflexion critique quant à la problématique de l’évaluation, du diagnostic et de l’intervention relative à de telles situations.
