This workshop demonstrated the use of Technology Explorer (TE) for IBM DB2. TE is an open source project developed using AJAX and PHP and is freely available. The TE was designed with two goals in mind. The first goal was to act as a teaching tool for people new to DB2 or existing users interested in learning about new DB2 features. Second, the goal was to have the Technology Explorer for IBM DB2 used by anyone who wanted to build their own custom database monitor.
