Abstract
Les journalistes exploitent différents répertoires interprétratifs pour décrire leurs liens avec les relations publiques. Ils utilisent tour à tour le discours institutionnel du journalisme et le discours institutionnel des relationnistes. Ils puisent aussi dans la déontologie journalistique. Enfin, ils se servent du répertoire appelé ici le « discours réaliste » pour détailler leurs échanges avec les porte-parole ou les chargés de communication. Ces différents répertoires interprétatifs peuvent être mobilisés dans une seule et même phrase, montrant la complexité des liens. Nous avons interviewé treize journalistes œuvrant au sein de quotidiens montréalais pour dresser ce portrait. Ils font partie du premier échantillon d’une recherche d’envergure sur les liens entre journalistes et relationnistes.
