Abstract
La figure du geek est de plus en plus présente dans la culture contemporaine. Cet essai propose de questionner la différence entre les deux groupes de protagonistes trouvés dans les romans Microserfs et JPod de Coupland. Ainsi il sera possible de circonscrire une figure changeante. Pour clarifier le mot « geek », il sera comparé avec les stéréotypes de la tronche et du nolife. Les changements ensuite isolés serviront de symptômes pour penser la culture contemporaine comme culture de trop-plein.
