Abstract
Entre 1925 et 1930, Freud a eu en analyse un jeune psychotique, A.B.. Il est possible de reconstruire cette analyse à partir d’un diagnostic initial demandé par Pfister à Bleuler, puis de la correspondance entre Freud et son ami pasteur, à partir aussi des dossiers hospitaliers retrouvés et d’entretiens menés avec des médecins traitant qui s’en sont occupés à l’hôpital qui l’a accueilli aux États-Unis à son retour d’Europe et, enfin, à partir de ce qu’en dit Freud dans son étude sur Le fétichisme. Cet ensemble d’éléments jette éclaire un cas de Freud resté dans l’ombre.
