Abstract
La description des relations actuelles entre les femmes et l'État argentin exige un retour historique sur la période depuis 1945 car c'est alors que fut instauré le suffrage féminin et que furent adoptées des politiques sociales d'avant-garde bénéfiques aux femmes. Cet article compare cette période à notre époque de mondialisation et de compressions budgétaires et décrit les nouvelles responsabilités de l'État face aux citoyens, les conséquences des nouvelles politiques de même que la façon dont ces politiques ont affecté les femmes et entravé ou favorisé la réalisation de leurs aspirations collectives de genre.
