Abstract
Résumé La fulgurante ascension de Robert Dutton chez RONA a été accompagnée de grands bouleversements opérationnels et structurels au sein de l’entreprise. Par la force de ses convictions, cet homme aux valeurs humaines profondément enracinées a changé le visage de RONA. Il a redressé les relations de travail, instauré un climat de responsabilité et de respect et modifié la philosophie de gestion, tout en faisant passer le chiffre d’affaires de 500 millions de dollars à plus de 3,7 milliards. Dans les 10 dernières années, RONA s’est affirmée comme le spécialiste de la quincaillerie au Québec et au Canada, et est devenue le détaillant et distributeur le plus important du pays.
