La réorganisation de la première ligne au Québec : une nouvelle dynamique entre les médecins et le réseau public

Abstract
Deux réformes successives, la mise en place de groupes de médecine de famille (GMF) et l’instauration de centres de santé et de services sociaux (CSSS) et de réseaux locaux de services (RLS), ont été introduites depuis 2002 au Québec. Celles-ci ont donné naissance à une nouvelle dynamique entre le réseau public et les partenaires de la communauté, dont les médecins, pour l’organisation des services de première ligne. La collaboration entre intervenants autrement isolés se développe et leurs initiatives se font plus importantes. Certaines conditions permettant la valorisation de la première ligne se mettent aussi en place. Le présent article résume les changements en cours et décrit plus particulièrement comment les médecins en pratique privée et les institutions publiques profitent de cette opportunité pour trouver des solutions à leurs attentes respectives
