Kinetics of adsorption of phospholipids into monolayers containing surfactant protein C
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Abstract The kinetics of adsorption of phospholipids to the air/water interface at 20°C induced by surfactant protein C (SP‐C) was studied. A two‐step assumption was proposed to describe the mechanism of phospholipids adsorption: (1) diffusing of the lipid vesicles from the bulk to the subsurface, (2) forming the lipid–protein aggregations by interaction between phospholipids and SP‐C and spreading at the surface. On the basis of the change characteristic of surface pressure (π)–time (t) isotherm, the whole adsorption process was divided into three stages in which it is controlled by adsorption, diffusion and diffusion together with adsorption, respectively. The corresponding kinetic models were developed and verified by the experimental data reported in literature [Ross et al., Eur. Biophys. J. 2002;31:52–61]. The results show that the data corresponding to each stage can be described well by growth model (AAD% = 1.0%), diffusion model (AAD% = 4.1%), and the pseudo‐second‐order model (AAD% = 1.8%), respectively.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
