Abstract
Researchers have urged nutritional support for rural people in India during their treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis.1 In a retrospective study conducted at Jan Swasthya Sahyog—a non-profit voluntary organisation based in Chhattisgarh—Indian and Canadian researchers have found that undernutrition is a substantially prevalent comorbidity in India, increasing the risk of death in rural people with pulmonary tuberculosis.
