Abstract
El artículo presenta un análisis del modelo multicultural canadiense, dividido en dos partes: la primera pretende una aproximación general a través de su expresión política y de las críticas que ha suscitado en la literatura académica canadiense contemporánea, en tanto que la segunda se dedica a! estudio de un caso concreto, la ciudad de Toronto, con la intención de buscar cuál es la imagen que el multiculturalismo ofrece a través de un análisis del espacio público de la ciudad.
