Les allusions à Stendhal et à la Chartreuse ne doivent pas occulter, dans « 53 jours » , l'existence d'un autre intertexte. On s'intéresse ici à l'intertexte restreint (emprunts de Perec à ses propres oeuvres). Six types principaux : ­ autobiographique : énoncés issus des oeuvres autobiographiques; ­ standard : références ponctuelles à d'autres ouvrages; ­ intersectif : un texte allographe est évoqué à la fois par « 53 jours » et un autre texte; ­ métatextuel : une relation intertextuelle rend lisible un fonctionnement du récit; ­ opératoire : récurrence des opérations d'écriture déjà exploitées ailleurs; ­ réticulé : possibilité de rattacher un élément de « 53 jours » à un sous-ensemble du « biotexte perecquien », où se trouvent réunis isotopies sémantiques, formes géométriques et biographèmes.
