Abstract
Résumé L’article vise à décrire un modèle théorique de la négligence. La première partie présente les principaux enjeux suscités par l’acte de définir la négligence envers les enfants et propose une définition permettant de faire un diagnostic de ces situations. La seconde partie propose un modèle étiologique de la négligence. La troisième partie fait le point sur les multiples séquelles de la négligence. L’article conclut en présentant des recommandations pour le développement et l’évaluation des programmes visant à prévenir ou contrer la négligence envers les enfants.
