Abstract
L’architecture précise du système électrique à court et moyen terme est loin d’être décidée. À long terme toutefois, elle semble s’orienter clairement vers une configuration nouvelle, basée sur une triade de tendances lourdes : miniaturisation, décentralisation et écologisation de la production d’électricité. Ce texte décrit ces tendances et les forces qui les sous-tend, soit l’effet combiné des progrès technologiques, de la conscientisation environnementale, de la numérisation de l’économie et de l’ouverture des marchés à la concurrence.
