Abstract
Un grand bassin de connaissances issues de la recherche a été publié sur le thème de la gestion pédagogique de la diversité, alors que dans ce domaine, il n’existe pas de consensus scientifique tant les termes diffèrent et les origines des écrits s’inscrivent dans des paradigmes distincts. Pour tenter de s’y retrouver dans les modalités suggérées dans ces écrits, cet article propose une analyse novatrice découlant d’un exercice de comparaison et de regroupement. Une représentation visuelle est suggérée en conclusion afin d’aider le lecteur à avoir une vue d’ensemble de cet essai de synthèse qui, sans être exhaustif, fournit néanmoins une vue représentative de la littérature dans le domaine. Précisons finalement que cette catégorisation n’est que théorique et n’a pas la prétention d’illustrer les pratiques enseignantes en situation qui, elles, sont beaucoup moins catégoriques dans le feu de l’action et face à la diversité des élèves.
