Abstract
Cet essai propose une synthèse sur le rapport à l'espace en Acadie des débuts à aujourd'hui. Visant à englober tout ce qui est représentation de l'espace et construit social de l'identité, il demeure, au premier chef, une tentative de marquer la différenciation qui se transpose dans l'espace. Bref, il cherche à situer les régions et les régionalismes, produits de l'adaptation de populations à des espaces spécifiques. Il part de l'hypothèse voulant que la culture, l'espace et l'identité évoluent en dialectique, dans un processus dynamique d'où ressort une société unifiée mais diverse.
