Abstract
Résumé La génétique est une science neuve puisque ses prémisses n’ont été jetées qu’en 1865 par Johann Gregor Mendel. Discipline se fixant pour objet la transmission des caractères héréditaires, elle est, associée à la théorie de l’évolution qui lui est presque contemporaine, à l’origine de bouleversements scientifiques, sociologiques, philosophiques et politiques considérables. En ce sens, elle est par excellence une science des crises, passées, présentes et futures.
