Abstract
À Lyon (France), l’Association internationale des Ministères de guérison organise une fois par mois des « soirées miracles et guérisons». Ces soirées s’articulent autour, d’une part, un « porteur de charisme » qui peut être pasteur, prêtre, religieux ou simple laïc, à la fois garant de la cohésion des acteurs autour de l’effort de prière et médiateur des énergies divines et, d’autre part, une assemblée en souffrance, en attente de miracle et qui le reçoit comme une preuve, une validation empirique du croire. Les prières s’inscrivent dès lors comme une quête thérapeutique. Cette recherche souhaite interroger la diversité des itinéraires thérapeutiques actuels, ainsi que les rapports au corps et à la guérison qu’ils occasionnent. À mi-chemin entre une anthropologie de la maladie et une anthropologie du religieux, cet article souhaite contribuer à une meilleure compréhension des rapports entre savoir et croyance à l’oeuvre dans la guérison. Il souhaite interroger l’acte de croire dans le processus de construction de la guérison, en portant l’attention sur les modalités d’implication tout autant que sur les conditions d’acceptabilité, par les acteurs, du « miracle » de guérison.
