Abstract
Les romanciers algériens d’expression française se sont d’emblée situés au cœur d’une l’histoire faite de violences, de passions et d’identités meurtries. Depuis plus d’un demi-siècle, cette littérature produit des œuvres dont la nature puise aux sources d’origines multiples. De Mouloud Feraoun à Abdelkaber Djemaï, de Kateb Yacine à Mustapha Bendofil s’affirme une force critique, sans concessions, qui n’en finit pas d’interroger les sociétés algérienne et française, les liens entre les peuples et les identités en recomposition. La littérature est algérienne. Sa portée est universelle.
