Abstract
<titre>Résumé</titre>Cet article résume certains résultats issus d’une recherche qualitative sur la motivation à entreprendre et à poursuivre un traitement spécialisé chez des agresseurs sexuels pédophiles. Ces résultats soulignent notamment l’importance pour ces patients d’acquérir un sentiment de maîtrise, d’évoluer dans un environnement aux règles stables, pré-établies, voire strictes, et de s’assurer de la force et de l’autorité des thérapeutes par des confrontations ouvertes. Ces résultats sont discutés dans une perspective psychodynamique et en référence au débat sur les traitements conformes aux manuels.
