Cette bibliographie sélective consiste en un bilan des écrits francophones publiés de 1991 à 1998 sur le thème «Les femmes et l'éducation» et sur «Les femmes, l'éducation et le développement social». Les 206 références réunies proviennent de deux versions de la banque de données informatisée FRANCIS, soit : FRANCIS, version CD-ROM, produite par l'Institut de l'information scientifique et technique du Centre national de la recherche scientifique à Paris (INIST-CNRS), qui englobe les années 1991-1996, et FRANCIS, version Internet, produite par l'INIST-CNRS et le Getty Information Institute qui répertorie les années 1997-1998.
