Abstract
Parmi toutes les formes d’art qui actuellement nourrissent un théâtre « en crise », la danse contemporaine nous apparaît comme un formidable laboratoire d’une « action nouvelle ». On remarque en effet que beaucoup d’éléments qui la façonnent correspondent aux préoccupations d’un théâtre « postdramatique ». Il s’agit essentiellement du rapport étroit qu’elle entretient avec la notion d’immanence, de son détachement par rapport au sens prédéterminé et de sa capacité à être comme aux sources d’un « drama pur ». Que cela soit recherché ou pas par ceux qui la font, la danse est productrice « d’effets théâtre ». Une action physique et non pas « active » s’y révèle, tenant aussi bien au traitement du corps, de l’état, de la situation et de l’espace qu’au potentiel déployé par la représentation spectaculaire dans son ensemble, stimulant l’activité réceptrice.
