Abstract
À travers une recension des recherches récentes, l'article fait le point sur la question des transferts en écriture de la langue maternelle à la langue seconde. Les connaissances orthographiques et lexicales, le traite-ment grammatical et syntaxique, les stratégies générales et les schémas culturels de la L1 influencent l'écriture en L2, mais la conscience du niveau de langue approprié est plus difficilement transférable. La compétence linguisti-que en L2 affecte la qualité du produit, non celle du processus, mais un seuil minimal de cette compétence est nécessaire au transfert des stratégies de haut niveau. Les effets positifs du transfert se manifestent davantage dans le processus que dans le produit, où ils dépendent de la proximité relative des langues. Les limites des recherches actuelles sont identifiées et des pistes de recherches futures sont suggérées.
