Abstract
Par la lecture de différents passages où se trouve thématisée l'énonciation de la République de Platon, l'Utopie de More et Nous autres de Zamiatine, l'auteur entend démontrer que l'utopie, du moins dans sa forme canonique, repose sur un paradoxe pragmatique, sur une contradiction entre, d'une part, l'énoncé décrivant la vérité eternelle et paisible d'une communauté idéale et, d'autre part, son énonciation turbulente et précaire. Cette agonique entre l'énoncé et l'énonciation, se manifestant par les isotopies de la violence, de la surdité et du solipsisme, dévoile des contradictions non seulement pragmatiques, mais aussi épistémologiques, historiques et politiques, et elle laisse entrevoir la possibilité d'une éthique essentiellement pragmatique pour les utopies à venir de notre postmodernité.
