Abstract
Les relations de travail de type fordiste fondées principalement sur la compensation monétaire de conditions pénibles de travail ont contribué à une individualisation des mécanismes de défense qui se traduit par de l'hyperactivité et une surconsommation d'alcool et de drogue. Cette étude de cas a été réalisée avec l'aide de travailleurs syndiqués d'une usine de pâtes et papiers. Elle s'est inspirée de la psychodynamique du travail pour comprendre la souffrance des travailleurs.
