Résumé La communauté de pratique interorganisationnelle permet à plusieurs organisations de partager entre elles des bonnes pratiques et des connaissances et facilite la coordination entre différents acteurs d’un secteur industriel. Ses membres s’engagent à joindre leurs efforts pour communiquer leurs savoirs, collaborer à la résolution de problèmes soulevés par leurs pairs, leurs organisations et la communauté elle-même, et innover là où de nouvelles voies sont requises pour avancer. Après avoir traité des bénéfices des communautés de pratique interorganisationnelles, cet article présente les phases de leur implantation : s’assurer d’un leadership et d’une vision partagée; s’assurer d’une culture organisationnelle propice et se doter d’une gouvernance partagée; planifier les échanges afin de valoriser les communications entre les ressources humaines; se doter d’une plateforme technologique commune suscitant la collaboration des personnes; enfin, piloter la communauté dans le sens de la collaboration. Ensuite, nous donnons deux exemples réels de communautés de pratique interorganisationnelles. Finalement, nous insistons sur deux conditions de succès de ces communautés : d’une part, favoriser les ententes entre organisations et reconnaître leur valeur ajoutée, et, d’autre part, prôner un leadership respectueux des communautés.
