Abstract
Genre narratif parmi d'autres, le récit se différencie du roman ou de la nouvelle en ce qu'il englobe plusieurs traits génériques distinctifs. Il se caractérise notamment par sa quête existentielle et par la dimension éminemment narcissique de son écriture. Le présent article s'intéresse à une telle pratique discursive, à ses constantes sur les plans de la forme et de la substance (du contenu et de l'expression), à partir de trois récits contemporains : Quand il pleut sur ma ville de Pascal Sabourin, Les images de Louise Bouchard, Sept roses pour une boulangère de Négovan Rajic.
