Abstract
À la différence des créatures qui sont « un pur rien » lorsqu’elles ne sont pas traversées par un regard humain amoureux de Dieu, Dieu est à la fois « un rien » et « un quelque chose ». Il transcende dans sa propre dynamique d’être toute forme de dualité. Il est l’unifiant. Dès lors, l’âme qui se laisse séduire par lui est affranchie et devient elle-même Dieu. Du coup l’antagonisme de la volonté divine et de la volonté humaine disparaît dans le mouvement d’une perpétuelle déprise des images que nous nous faisons de Dieu comme de nous-mêmes.
