À l’ère du Web collaboratif, les médias sociaux représentent l’un des plus puissants outils de communication planétaire en ce début de XXIe siècle. Qu’advient-il des pratiques des professionnels de la communication qui s’inscrivaient dans une logique d’émetteur bien établie par les modèles de communication ? À quelle logique impérative, les médias sociaux contraignent-ils les professionnels en relations publiques dans leurs Arts de faire. Comment se déploient la profession et les compétences des relationnistes dans le contexte nord-américain avec ces outils et usages émergents ?
