Abstract
Cette contribution propose une réflexion et quelques conjectures sur l’avenir de la ville « durable » face à l’hypothèse du changement climatique. On y montre comment la ville peut, sous certaines conditions, révéler puis développer des ressources territoriales urbaines capables d’instituer des processus d’adaptation aux conditions exogènes imposées par les variables du type du changement climatique. La ville passe d’un statut d’invulnérabilité lié à sa perception en termes de densité et de taille, à un statut plus complexe de site vulnérable, mais qui sécrète des ressources propres à lui assurer résilience et adaptabilité.
