Abstract
Les projets de développement visant l'amélioration des conditions de vie des femmes établissent rarement un lien entre le rôle productif des femmes et leur rôle reproductif. Dans la pratique de la coopération internationale, ces rôles restent isolés; l'un et l'autre sont pris en charge par des organisations, internationales ou non gouvernementales, spécialisées, aux méthodes et aux objectifs parfois diamétralement opposés. Entre la sphère de la planification familiale et celle du développement, il existe une césure nette, qui est la conséquence de la cécité sociale sur les femmes. Les projets « découpent » donc les femmes, ce qui explique les échecs fréquents.
