Abstract
Cette étude examine l'emploi des auxiliaires avoir et être dans le parler d'étudiants inscrits dans un programme d'immersion française. D'après les règles du français standard, la variante avoir ne s'emploie jamais avec certains verbes, par ex.: aller, venir, partir et cetera. Toutefois, des re-cherches portant sur le français parlé indiquent qu'il existe énormément de variation. Nous avons donc décidé d'examiner la variation dans le choix des auxiliaires dans le français parlé des étudiants en immersion française afin de savoir à quel point leur emploi des auxiliaires ressemble à celui des locuteurs natifs. Dans nos analyses, nous examinons la variation selon les facteurs linguistiques et sociaux qui la conditionnent. Nos résultats révèlent que les étudiants utilisent parfois l'auxiliaire avoir avec les » verbes êtres «, mais que cette fréquence est inférieure à ce qu'on trouve dans le parler des franco-phones.
