L’irréductibilité de la connaissance et l’intentionnalité en contexte de découverte abductive

Abstract
La connaissance reste une énigme à cause de son aptitude à dégager un pattern en opérant inductivement sans se voir pour autant limitée aux restrictions d’un dénombrement empirique des situations rencontrées. Au lieu de voir le concept comme un objet affaibli représentatif d’une réalité extérieure, il est suggéré ici de comprendre le connaître comme comblement d’une distance apte à conserver, pour l’agent qui l’éprouve, l’exigence d’une visée extérieure. On invite à se méfier de tout critère extérieur et quantitatif de la vérité, en montrant que certaines performances humaines échappent au projet de l’intelligence artificielle. Finalement, l’aspect positif du projet constructiviste cognitif est évalué et il est proposé qu’un de ses fruits inattendus permettra d’insérer le pouvoir humain de connaître dans la nature infrahumaine.
