Abstract
Traditionnellement, nous avons conçu la relation comme étant formée à partir de deux ou plusieurs individus. Toutefois, cette construction de la relation donne une priorité ontologique à l’individu, alors que les relations deviennent une dérivée secondaire. En termes des implications idéologiques, nous sommes encouragés à donner priorité aux individus. Le résultat fait en sorte que de nombreuses théories en sciences sociales offrent un raisonnement à l’idée d’un individualisme culturel sans même s’en rendre compte. Dans ce travail, je tente d’offrir une conception alternative de la relation où on retrouve un processus relationnel a priori à l’individu. Sous cette optique, la conception même de l’individu en est une d’action collaborative (co-action). Les implications plus larges mettent l’accent sur la confluence de la vie sociale.
