Abstract
Les associations féminines africaines sont actuellement convoitées tant par les États africains que par les organismes de coopération internationale pour des intérêts sans doute différents qu'il reste encore à élucider. De plus, elles s'offrent ou sont offertes aux femmes des milieux urbains et péri-urbains comme solutions collectives au déséquilibre entre leurs nombreuses responsabilités et leurs maigres ressources. Une enquête exploratoire auprès de 25 associations féminines de la ville de Ouagadougou et du milieu péri-urbain a permis de soulever certaines hypothèses de recherche susceptibles d'intéresser tant les universitaires que les intervenantes.
