Abstract
Herschel Island, Yukon Territory, is characterized by changes in permafrost and in coastal erosion associated with climate change. During the YUKON14 expedition in summer 2014, an in-situ geotechnical investigation of nearshore sediments was attempted using the portable free-fall penetrometer BlueDrop, burial of wave pressure gauges and sediment sampling and coring at ~300 locations of the mostly southern to southeastern side of the island. Vertical profiles of sediment strength and pore pressure at the uppermost seafloor surface were obtained in water depths ranging from 0.5-20 m. Pore pressures were monitored at a sediment depth of ~20 cm in the beach sediments on Herschel Spit and Pauline Cove over seven days with a sampling rate of 10 Hz. The results showed a strong spatial variability and stratification likely governed by the strong variations of hydronamic energy at different locations, as well as past and current thaw mud slump activity in the coastal zone.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
