Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The ligand C 5 H 5 (CH 2 CAr F 2 OH) ( 3 ) (Ar F = 3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) was prepared in moderate yield (65%) by ring opening of the epoxide Ar F 2 C(O)CH 2 ( 2 ) with NaCp. Epoxide 2 was accessible in two steps from commercially available precursors. Reaction of the dilithium salt of 3 with YCl 3 afforded the ate complex { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]} 2 Y - Li + {THF} 2 ( 4a ). Exposure of 4a to vacuum resulted in partial desolvation to { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]} 2 Y - Li + {THF} ( 4b ). The chloride complex { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]}YCl{THF} 2 ( 5 ) could only be prepared by protonolysis of {Y[N(SiMe 3 ) 2 ] 2 (THF) 2 ( μ -Cl)} 2 with 1 equiv of 3 . Metathesis reactions of 5 with 1 equiv of NaN(SiMe 3 ) 2, NaCp, and LiCH(SiMe 3 ) 2 afforded { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]}Y{N(SiMe 3 ) 2 }{THF} n ( 6a, n = 2; 6b, n = 1), { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]}Y{ η 5 -C 5 H 5 }{THF} n ( 8a, n = 2; 8b, n = 1), and { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]}Y{CH(SiMe 3 ) 2 }{THF} 2 ( 9 ), respectively. Metathesis of 5 with 2 equiv of Na[N(SiMe 3 ) 2 ] or LiCH(SiMe 3 ) 2 afforded the anionic “ ate ” complexes { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]}{N(SiMe 3 ) 2 } 2 Y - Na + {THF} 2 ( 7 ) and { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]}{CH(SiMe 3 ) 2 } 2 Y - Li + {THF} 2 ( 10 ), respectively. The phenoxide { η 5: η 1 -C 5 H 4 [CH 2 C(O)(3,5-C 6 H 3 (CF 3 ) 2 ) 2 ]}Y{O-2,6- t -Bu 2 C 6 H 3 }{THF} 2 ( 11 ) could not be prepared by salt metathesis but was isolated by protonolysis of Y[O-2,6- t -Bu 2 C 6 H 3 ][CH(SiMe 3 ) 2 ] 2 [THF] 2 with 1 equiv of 3 . The crystal structures of ate complex 4a and phenoxide 11 were established by X-ray crystallography.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
