Abstract
Le but de cet article article est de motiver empiriquement l’hypothèse de l’interface morphologique, soit que les têtes complexes sont interprétées au niveau de cet interface, le seul ayant les caractéristiques d’interprétation des X0complexes. La différence fondamentale entre cet interface et celui où les syntagmes sont interprétés vient des propriétés respectives des X0et des SX. En effet, si les SX donnent toujours lieu à des interprétations compositionnelles, les X0sont toujours interprétés de manière atomique. Dans les deux première sections, nous présentons une analyse des verbes à objet inhérent (VOI) en fon. Nous montrons que les VOI sont dérivés par adjonction à la base, ce qui fait d’eux des X0complexes. Dans la troisième section, nous montrons que, d’un point de vue minimaliste, il est important de distinguer l’interface où les SX sont interprétés de façon compositionnelle de celui où les X0complexes reçoivent leur interprétation canonique.
