Abstract
Cette contribution rend compte d’une recherche menée avec des formateurs d’adultes aux insertions professionnelles diverses. L’objectif consistait à faire ressortir les composantes de la construction identitaire de ces formateurs à la lumière de leur itinéraire institutionnel, raconté selon une approche biographique. L’expérience relatée rend compte d’un processus dans lequel recherche et formation sont étroitement liées dans la construction d’un savoir commun. Il est démontré que la place attribuée à la dimension existentielle favorise, d’une part, la médiation entre chercheurs et praticiens et qu’elle nécessite, d’autre part, une grande vigilance de la part des acteurs concernés, afin de garder une attitude critique face notamment à l’imbrication des différents rôles tenus par la protagoniste de la recherche tout au long du processus.
