Cet article traite des phénomènes de l'éducation à l'altérité dans une société soumise à de rapides mutations. L'autrice traite de l'expérience de l'altérité sur les plans éthique et ontologique, et en relation avec le concept d'éducation planétaire qui prend comme base les valeurs humaines. Elle situe sa réflexion en ce domaine comme une démarche critique et non comme une démarche de prescription car, dit-elle, les valeurs ne s'imposent pas, elles se partagent et s'élaborent en commun.
